Bespoke Commissions
For those who want a House of Bunkar piece built around a specific need, a specific hide, or a specific memory.
A small number of bespoke commissions are accepted each season. The process is slower and more involved than acquiring a piece from the current collection — which is, for the right client, exactly the point.
A conversation, written or in person, about the piece you have in mind — its use, its proportions, and any leather you may already have a preference for.
Our pattern maker sketches and adjusts a design specific to your commission, sharing reference drawings before any leather is cut.
The piece is built by the same artisans, to the same forty-hour standard, as the rest of the collection — with periodic updates if you would like them.
Your piece is inspected, packed, and shipped with a short note from the atelier describing the hide it was cut from.
Write to the atelier with "Bespoke Commission" as your subject, and a member of the House will respond with next steps and current lead times.
